ABOUT ALTAR EGOS:

Desperate to see their church grow, Pastor John and wife Betsy do the unthinkable by changing their church Christmas pageant. Flabbergasted, elderly choir director Mary Margaret leads the choir to boycott. Facing termination, Pastor John resorts to disguising himself as an old man to bridge the generation gap, win over Mary, and lead the choir back to the church. When he discovers that the wounds run deeper than he first suspected, Pastor John must learn to love the unlovable or risk the ruin of his church and family.

Altar Egos serves as a reminder to love one another, to be empathetic with those who may be hurting and to try seeing things from the perspective of others. Most importantly, it reminds us, to work together, to complete the mission Jesus Christ has set before us - Go tell the good news and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

This is funny stuff, y'all! :)

ABOUT APPLE MORTGAGE CAKE:

THIS IS A TRUE STORY and a great way to celebrate Mother's Day!

Angela is a single mother with three boys, a chaotic life, and a house that's falling apart - the same house where she sat in the kitchen as a child and listened to her grandmother's stories about the joys of baking. Now she has a flooded basement, collapsing roof, a mountain of debt and 10 days to pay the mortgage. Angela risks everything and decides to bake her way out of this mess, selling her amazing apple cakes to save her family and home. With the help of strangers, a hotel that gives her space to bake, and media outlets that share her story, Angela proves that hard work and determination do pay off and good things do happen to good people.
